What it is for
A printed pillow lives on a couch or bed and is seen every day, which makes it a good home for a pet portrait or a place.
Check whether the product is the cover alone or includes the insert; the name says so.
Dye sublimation
Sublimation prints the design onto transfer paper with dye ink; heat then turns the dye into a gas that bonds into a polyester coating or polyester fibre.
Colour becomes part of the surface rather than a layer on top, so it is vivid and does not crack or peel. It cannot print white: white in a design shows as the colour of the item itself, which is why sublimated items are white or pale.
There is no texture at all — on fabric you cannot feel the print, and on a mug it is under a smooth coating.
Designs that suit it
A centred image on a square face. Keep detail away from the seams, which pull slightly inward.
The print area is on the front: 2,550 × 2,550 pixels, about 8.5 × 8.5 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Full-colour photographs, paintings and edge-to-edge patterns. Less suited: designs that rely on white ink, and important detail right at seams, handles or edges where the transfer wraps.

“Birds stealing strawberries, a pattern for Grandma's cushions”

Before you order
How long does the Square Poly Canvas Pillow take to arrive?
It does not currently ship to Canada; to the US, 2–5 business days ($24.24 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Square Poly Canvas Pillow?
Yes. Sublimation reproduces photographs in full colour with no texture. White areas print as the item's own colour, so a photo with a white background blends into it. The print file is 2550 × 2550 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes does the Square Poly Canvas Pillow come in?
5 sizes: 16" × 16", 18" × 18", 20" × 20", 24" × 24", 26" × 26".
When should I order the Square Poly Canvas Pillow for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Square Poly Canvas Pillow?
It is sublimation-printed, and that sets the care. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. No bleach; the colour is in the fibre, so it will not crack.
