Terms on getting it there.
The legal counterpart to the shipping page: when title passes, who carries the risk, what happens to a parcel that never arrives, and what an estimate is worth.
What a delivery window is
Every product shows a window before you pay — a production time plus a transit time, both drawn from the partner who will actually make it. It is an estimate and it is not a term of the contract. Carriers lose days to weather, customs and volume, and a seller who guarantees a date they do not control is guaranteeing someone else’s performance.
What we do commit to is the production half, which is ours. If an item has not left the partner by the end of its stated production window, tell us and we will either expedite the shipping leg at our cost or cancel and refund, your choice.
Title and risk
Title and risk pass to you on delivery to the address you gave, not on dispatch. Until the carrier marks it delivered, a lost or destroyed parcel is our problem. This is more generous than the default rule in most of the jurisdictions we ship to, and it is deliberate: we chose the carrier, so we carry the carrier.
Duties, taxes and brokerage
Orders are routed to a print partner inside the destination country wherever the catalogue allows it, which is why there are no duties or brokerage fees at the door. Our partners sit in US, DE, LV, CN, GB, NL, CA, CZ, AU, IN. On the rare item printed outside the destination country, the product page says so before you pay, and any import charge is still ours, not yours — we do not ship delivered-duty-unpaid.
Address errors
We ship to the address as entered. An address can be corrected free of charge until the item enters production; after that the parcel has a label on it and a change means a new print.
If a parcel is returned to sender because the address was incomplete or wrong, we will reship once you confirm a corrected address, and you pay only the second shipping leg. If it was returned because of an error on our side, we pay.
Lost and stolen
A parcel with no carrier movement for seven business days is treated as lost: we reprint and reship at our cost, without waiting for the carrier’s investigation to conclude. We pursue the carrier ourselves afterwards; that is not your errand.
A parcel marked delivered but not found is the hard case. We will reprint once, at our cost, on your word. We do not do it twice to the same address, because at that point the problem is the address, not the parcel.
Seasonal cutoffs
Order by Nov 13 for Canada and Dec 18 for the United States to have standard-shipping items arrive before 25 December. Those dates come from the partners’ own capacity planning. Past the cutoff we will still take the order and we will not promise the date.
If you can imagine it, we can create it.
Anything, designed from a sentence, printed by a partner near you, shipped to the door.
