Terms of service.

1. The service

Vessim (“we”, “us”) operates makevessim.com, a studio where you describe a gift, we generate designs, and a print partner makes and ships the product. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy and Content policy.

You must be 18 or older, or using the site with a parent or guardian, to place an order.

2. Orders

An order is placed when you approve a design and complete payment. We send a confirmation with an order ID. You can change the address or cancel for free until printing starts, after which the item exists and cannot be cancelled.

We may decline or cancel an order that breaches the Content policy, that we cannot fulfil, or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent. Declined orders are refunded in full.

3. Designs and ownership

Designs are generated from your prompts and uploads. Before you order, generated designs are previews and we may regenerate or remove them. Once you order, you own the design we printed for personal, non-commercial use, and we grant you a perpetual licence to reproduce it for yourself. We do not resell your designs, prompts or photos and do not use them to train models.

You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload and that your prompt does not ask us to reproduce someone else’s protected work. See the Content policy for what we won’t print.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars and derive from a published rule: the product’s lowest base cost in US dollars × 2.2 × a 1.37 exchange rate, rounded up to the dollar, with a $12 floor. Shipping and applicable taxes are shown before you pay. The price at checkout is the price you pay; we don’t charge subscriptions or hidden fees.

Payments are processed by a third-party processor. We don’t store full card numbers.

5. Shipping

We ship to Canada and the United States. Delivery windows are estimates published by the print partner for your product and destination, shown before you pay. See Shipping for windows, holiday cutoffs and duties.

6. Reprints and refunds

If a product arrives damaged, defective or different from the approved design, we reprint or refund it on request within 30 days of delivery with a photo. Because products are made to order from a design you approved, we don’t accept returns for change of mind or for a design that printed as shown. Full policy at Returns & reprints.

7. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the studio to generate content that breaches the Content policy or the law.
• Don’t scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service.
• Don’t impersonate another person or misrepresent who an order is from.
• We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for carrier delays outside our control, though we will always help you chase a parcel.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law in your province or state.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring them where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are emailed to account holders 30 days ahead. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
