What it is for
This is one of the objects in our catalogue that does not fit a neat family. Its options and print area below say what it can carry.
Read the product spec below for the materials and dimensions.
UV printing
UV printing jets ink onto the surface and cures it instantly with ultraviolet light, which lets it print directly on rigid and coated materials.
Colour is dense and edges are sharp. On clear or coloured materials a white layer can be laid under the colour so it does not look washed out.
The ink sits on the surface with a very slight raised texture.
Designs that suit it
A design made at the print size listed below, centred on the printable face.
The print area is on the front: 2,436 × 2,436 pixels, about 8.1 × 8.1 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, sharp graphics and type on hard surfaces. Less suited: very thin lines on textured surfaces, where the ink follows the grain.
Sentences that would suit it
“Mum's garden in June, all the irises out”
Irises, Vincent van Gogh, 1889. Public domain. Shown on our example mug 11oz.
“A family crest with our surname and the year we married”
Example design by Vessim. Shown on our example mug 11oz.
“'Grow slow' with a little sprig, for the plant lover”
Example design by Vessim. Shown on our example unisex heavy cotton tee.
Examples by Vessim: public-domain art and our own lettering, not studio output. The studio designs yours from your sentence.

Before you order
How long does the Wood Signs take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $25.47 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($8.21 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Wood Signs?
Yes. UV printing reproduces photographs in full colour on hard surfaces, with sharp edges. The print file is 2436 × 2436 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes does the Wood Signs come in?
4 sizes: 6" × 6", 8" × 8", 10" × 10", 12" × 12".
When should I order the Wood Signs for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Wood Signs?
It is UV-printed, and that sets the care. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. No abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the printed surface.
