What it is for
Glassware is for evenings and occasions: a whisky glass for a retirement, a pint glass for a birthday, a set for a wedding.
On clear glass there is no white background behind the print; very pale colours almost disappear.
UV printing
UV printing jets ink onto the surface and cures it instantly with ultraviolet light, which lets it print directly on rigid and coated materials.
Colour is dense and edges are sharp. On clear or coloured materials a white layer can be laid under the colour so it does not look washed out.
The ink sits on the surface with a very slight raised texture.
Designs that suit it
Glass suits line work, monograms, names and dates. Light shows through it, so clean single-tone designs read better than photographs.
The print area is on the front: 2,738 × 1,276 pixels, about 9.1 × 4.3 in at 300 dpi — a wide, landscape area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, sharp graphics and type on hard surfaces. Less suited: very thin lines on textured surfaces, where the ink follows the grain.

It is printed to order in Danvers, MA, United States, then shipped: 10–30 business days to Canada ($17.52 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($12.86 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.

Before you order
How long does the Pint Glass, 16oz take to arrive?
To Canada, 10–30 business days, with first-item shipping at $17.52 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($12.86 CAD). It is printed to order in Danvers, MA, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Pint Glass, 16oz?
Yes. UV printing reproduces photographs in full colour on hard surfaces, with sharp edges. The print file is 2738 × 1276 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
When should I order the Pint Glass, 16oz for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by November 13 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Pint Glass, 16oz?
It is UV-printed, and that sets the care. Hand wash only. No abrasive pads on the printed area.
