What it is for
A mug is the gift that gets used every morning. It sits on a desk or a counter, so the design is seen by the person who received it more than by anyone else.
Handles and the rim are not printed; the wrap stops a little short of the handle on both sides.
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing
Direct-to-garment printing works like an inkjet printer for fabric: water-based ink is sprayed into the fibres and cured with heat.
It prints full colour in one pass, so a photograph or a gradient costs the same as a single word. On dark fabric a white base layer goes down first so the colours stay true.
On light fabric the print is barely felt; over a white base on dark fabric it is slightly firmer, like a soft film.
Designs that suit it
The print wraps around the body. A design about twice as wide as it is tall fills it; a single image can be placed on one side, or repeated so it shows whichever hand holds the mug.
The print area is on the mug back: 750 × 675 pixels, about 2.5 × 2.3 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, detailed illustration and small type all hold. Less suited: very fine hairlines and large solid blocks of colour on dark fabric, where the base layer is most noticeable.

Before you order
How long does the Beverage Holder, 12oz take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $16.70 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($9.30 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Beverage Holder, 12oz?
Yes. DTG prints in full colour from the image file, so photographs and paintings reproduce well; they look best on high-cotton fabric. The print file is 750 × 675 pixels on the mug back, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What colours does the Beverage Holder, 12oz come in?
16 colours, including Dark Gray, Dark Purple, Olive Green, Black, Coral, Green, Light Purple, Maroon.
When should I order the Beverage Holder, 12oz for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Beverage Holder, 12oz?
It is DTG-printed, and that sets the care. Wash inside out in cold water. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. No bleach or fabric softener on the printed area.
