What it is for
A candle is a quiet gift: sympathy, housewarming, a thank-you. The design sits on the label or vessel and is seen every time it is lit.
Trim the wick and burn it long enough for the surface to melt evenly the first time.
Digital printing
Digital printing is high-resolution inkjet: pigment ink is laid onto paper, canvas, card or a label in fine dots.
It has the widest colour range of any method here, and the finest detail, which is why it is used for art prints.
The finish depends on the stock — matte, satin or gloss — not on the ink.
Designs that suit it
A label is a small print area — a name, a date, a short line and a simple illustration. Calm designs suit what candles are for.
The print area is on the front: 1,425 × 375 pixels, about 4.8 × 1.3 in at 300 dpi — a wide, landscape area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, maps and fine type. Less suited: very large flat areas of a single dark colour on matte stock, which can show slight banding up close.

Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Phoenix, AZ, United States, then shipped: 10–30 business days to Canada ($15.19 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($7.52 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by November 13 for Canada and December 18 for the US — that is the Tin Candles's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other candles
- Of the 18 candles in the catalogue, none costs less than this one and 17 cost more.
- 1 of them comes in more colours than its 3.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 30 business days, is longer than the family's median of 15; 10 other candles arrive sooner.
- 18 of the 18 are printed in North America, this one included.

Before you order
How long does the Tin Candles take to arrive?
To Canada, 10–30 business days, with first-item shipping at $15.19 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($7.52 CAD). It is printed to order in Phoenix, AZ, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Tin Candles?
Yes. Digital printing is the best method here for photographs: the widest colour range and the finest detail. The print file is 1425 × 375 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes and colours does the Tin Candles come in?
2 sizes: 4oz, 8oz. 3 colours: Black, Gold, Silver.
When should I order the Tin Candles for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by November 13 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Tin Candles?
It is digitally printed, and that sets the care. Keep the label dry and away from the flame. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn.
