What it is for
A doormat with a family name or a rug with a pattern is a house gift that gets walked on every day — and noticed.
Outdoor and indoor mats are different products; check which this is.
Dye sublimation
Sublimation prints the design onto transfer paper with dye ink; heat then turns the dye into a gas that bonds into a polyester coating or polyester fibre.
Colour becomes part of the surface rather than a layer on top, so it is vivid and does not crack or peel. It cannot print white: white in a design shows as the colour of the item itself, which is why sublimated items are white or pale.
There is no texture at all — on fabric you cannot feel the print, and on a mug it is under a smooth coating.
Designs that suit it
Bold type and simple shapes on a doormat; patterns on a rug. Fine detail is lost in the pile.
The print area is on the front: 9,450 × 9,450 pixels, about 31.5 × 31.5 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Full-colour photographs, paintings and edge-to-edge patterns. Less suited: designs that rely on white ink, and important detail right at seams, handles or edges where the transfer wraps.
Sentences that would suit it

Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, then shipped: 5–15 business days to Canada ($52.73 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($64.10 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 4 for Canada and December 18 for the US — that is the Round Rug's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other rugs and mats
- Of the 15 rugs and mats in the catalogue, 14 cost less and none costs more.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 15 business days, is the same as the family's median of 15; no other rugs and mats arrive sooner.
- 15 of the 15 are printed in North America, this one included.

Before you order
How long does the Round Rug take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $52.73 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($64.10 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Round Rug?
Yes. Sublimation reproduces photographs in full colour with no texture. White areas print as the item's own colour, so a photo with a white background blends into it. The print file is 9450 × 9450 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
When should I order the Round Rug for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Round Rug?
It is sublimation-printed, and that sets the care. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. No bleach; the colour is in the fibre, so it will not crack.
