What it is for
Duvet covers, sheets and comforters are a big gift for a new home, a wedding or a child's room.
Bed sizes differ between countries; check the dimensions in the options against the mattress.
Dye sublimation
Sublimation prints the design onto transfer paper with dye ink; heat then turns the dye into a gas that bonds into a polyester coating or polyester fibre.
Colour becomes part of the surface rather than a layer on top, so it is vivid and does not crack or peel. It cannot print white: white in a design shows as the colour of the item itself, which is why sublimated items are white or pale.
There is no texture at all — on fabric you cannot feel the print, and on a mug it is under a smooth coating.
Designs that suit it
Large patterns and big, simple images. Bedding is seen from a distance, so detail matters less than colour.
The print area is on the quilt cover: 8,150 × 9,252 pixels, about 27.2 × 30.8 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Full-colour photographs, paintings and edge-to-edge patterns. Less suited: designs that rely on white ink, and important detail right at seams, handles or edges where the transfer wraps.
Sentences that would suit it
“Birds stealing strawberries, a pattern for Grandma's cushions”
Strawberry Thief, William Morris, designed 1883. Public domain. Shown on our example velveteen plush blanket.
“Art Nouveau poppies in coral and gold”
Oriental Poppies, from Documents Décoratifs, Alphonse Mucha, 1902. Public domain. Shown on our example velveteen plush blanket.
“Matching Christmas jumpers for the Patels, merry and bright”
Example design by Vessim. Shown on our example velveteen plush blanket.
Examples by Vessim: public-domain art and our own lettering, not studio output. The studio designs yours from your sentence.
Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian, China, then shipped: 7–15 business days to Canada ($37.11 CAD for the first item) and 7–15 business days to the US ($37.80 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Because it is printed outside North America, import duties or taxes may apply on arrival.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 4 for Canada and December 4 for the US — that is the Quilt Cover Set Of Three's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other bedding
- Of the 16 bedding in the catalogue, 3 cost less and 12 cost more.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 15 business days, is the same as the family's median of 15; no other bedding arrive sooner.
- 14 of the 16 are printed in North America; this one is printed in China.

Before you order
How long does the Quilt Cover Set Of Three take to arrive?
To Canada, 7–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $37.11 CAD; to the US, 7–15 business days ($37.80 CAD). It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian, China, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Quilt Cover Set Of Three?
Yes. Sublimation reproduces photographs in full colour with no texture. White areas print as the item's own colour, so a photo with a white background blends into it. The print file is 8150 × 9252 pixels on the quilt cover, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes does the Quilt Cover Set Of Three come in?
2 sizes: 68'' x 90'', 79'' x 90''.
When should I order the Quilt Cover Set Of Three for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 4 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Quilt Cover Set Of Three?
It is sublimation-printed, and that sets the care. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. No bleach; the colour is in the fibre, so it will not crack.
