What it is for
A baby bodysuit is the most practical new-baby gift there is: worn daily, outgrown in months, and kept in a box afterwards if it says the right thing.
Babies grow through sizes quickly; buying one size up is the usual advice for a gift.
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing
Direct-to-garment printing works like an inkjet printer for fabric: water-based ink is sprayed into the fibres and cured with heat.
It prints full colour in one pass, so a photograph or a gradient costs the same as a single word. On dark fabric a white base layer goes down first so the colours stay true.
On light fabric the print is barely felt; over a white base on dark fabric it is slightly firmer, like a soft film.
Designs that suit it
A name, a birth date, or a small illustration on the chest. The print area is small, so keep type short and large.
The print area is on the front: 1,500 × 2,001 pixels, about 5.0 × 6.7 in at 300 dpi — a tall, portrait area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, detailed illustration and small type all hold. Less suited: very fine hairlines and large solid blocks of colour on dark fabric, where the base layer is most noticeable.

Before you order
How long does the Infant Long Sleeve Bodysuit take to arrive?
To Canada, 2–5 business days, with first-item shipping at $9.71 CAD; to the US, 5–15 business days ($32.18 CAD). It is printed to order in Vaughan, ON, Canada, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Infant Long Sleeve Bodysuit?
Yes. DTG prints in full colour from the image file, so photographs and paintings reproduce well; they look best on high-cotton fabric. The print file is 1500 × 2001 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes and colours does the Infant Long Sleeve Bodysuit come in?
3 sizes: NB (0-3M), 12M, 18M. 2 colours: Navy, Red. The size guide has measurements for each.
When should I order the Infant Long Sleeve Bodysuit for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 18 to Canada and December 4 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Infant Long Sleeve Bodysuit?
It is DTG-printed, and that sets the care. Wash inside out in cold water. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. No bleach or fabric softener on the printed area.
