What it is for
Laptop sleeves, phone stands and similar accessories are useful objects with a small surface for a design.
Check the device size in the options before ordering.
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing
Direct-to-garment printing works like an inkjet printer for fabric: water-based ink is sprayed into the fibres and cured with heat.
It prints full colour in one pass, so a photograph or a gradient costs the same as a single word. On dark fabric a white base layer goes down first so the colours stay true.
On light fabric the print is barely felt; over a white base on dark fabric it is slightly firmer, like a soft film.
Designs that suit it
Patterns, initials and simple images.
The print area is on the front bottom: 1,800 × 1,800 pixels, about 6.0 × 6.0 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, detailed illustration and small type all hold. Less suited: very fine hairlines and large solid blocks of colour on dark fabric, where the base layer is most noticeable.
Sentences that would suit it

“Blue and coral peonies, a pattern for her favourite mug”
Peony, Kate Faulkner, printed 1920. Public domain. Shown on our example tough phone cases.

Before you order
How long does the Impact Tech Backpack take to arrive?
To Canada, 10–30 business days, with first-item shipping at $29.30 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($16.70 CAD). It is printed to order in Monroe, NC, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Impact Tech Backpack?
Yes. DTG prints in full colour from the image file, so photographs and paintings reproduce well; they look best on high-cotton fabric. The print file is 1800 × 1800 pixels on the front bottom, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What colours does the Impact Tech Backpack come in?
2 colours: Deep Black, Gusty Grey Heather.
When should I order the Impact Tech Backpack for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by November 13 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Impact Tech Backpack?
It is DTG-printed, and that sets the care. Wash inside out in cold water. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. No bleach or fabric softener on the printed area.
