What it is for
A hoodie is the piece people reach for on cold mornings and keep for years, which is why it carries a design that means something better than almost anything else.
Fleece is thick, so fine detail softens slightly compared with a T-shirt. Lines and type should be a little heavier than you would draw them for paper.
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing
Direct-to-garment printing works like an inkjet printer for fabric: water-based ink is sprayed into the fibres and cured with heat.
It prints full colour in one pass, so a photograph or a gradient costs the same as a single word. On dark fabric a white base layer goes down first so the colours stay true.
On light fabric the print is barely felt; over a white base on dark fabric it is slightly firmer, like a soft film.
Designs that suit it
The front panel above the pocket is the main print area. A year, a place, a single image or a short phrase sits well there; very tall designs run into the pocket seam.
The print area is on the front: 2,736 × 2,280 pixels, about 9.1 × 7.6 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, detailed illustration and small type all hold. Less suited: very fine hairlines and large solid blocks of colour on dark fabric, where the base layer is most noticeable.

Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, then shipped: 5–15 business days to Canada ($18.07 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($10.12 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.

Before you order
How long does the Heavy Core Hoodie take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $18.07 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($10.12 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Heavy Core Hoodie?
Yes. DTG prints in full colour from the image file, so photographs and paintings reproduce well; they look best on high-cotton fabric. The print file is 2736 × 2280 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes and colours does the Heavy Core Hoodie come in?
7 sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL. 5 colours: ARONA, Asphalt, Black, Chocolate Brown, Cream. The size guide has measurements for each.
When should I order the Heavy Core Hoodie for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Heavy Core Hoodie?
It is DTG-printed, and that sets the care. Wash inside out in cold water. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. No bleach or fabric softener on the printed area.
