What it is for
Shower curtains, bath mats and window curtains change a room with one object.
Hardware such as rings and rods is not included unless the name says so.
Dye sublimation
Sublimation prints the design onto transfer paper with dye ink; heat then turns the dye into a gas that bonds into a polyester coating or polyester fibre.
Colour becomes part of the surface rather than a layer on top, so it is vivid and does not crack or peel. It cannot print white: white in a design shows as the colour of the item itself, which is why sublimated items are white or pale.
There is no texture at all — on fabric you cannot feel the print, and on a mug it is under a smooth coating.
Designs that suit it
Full-bleed patterns and large scenes. A shower curtain is effectively a two-metre poster.
The print area is on the front: 10,800 × 6,900 pixels, about 36.0 × 23.0 in at 300 dpi — a wide, landscape area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Full-colour photographs, paintings and edge-to-edge patterns. Less suited: designs that rely on white ink, and important detail right at seams, handles or edges where the transfer wraps.
Sentences that would suit it
“A dusky rose floral pattern for a reading chair”
Honeysuckle, William Morris, designed 1876. Public domain. Shown on our example beach towel.
“A long calm pond for the wall above Mum's sofa”
Water Lilies (Agapanthus), Claude Monet, c. 1915–26. Public domain. Shown on our example beach towel.
“Birds stealing strawberries, a pattern for Grandma's cushions”
Strawberry Thief, William Morris, designed 1883. Public domain. Shown on our example beach towel.
Examples by Vessim: public-domain art and our own lettering, not studio output. The studio designs yours from your sentence.
Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, then shipped: 5–15 business days to Canada ($15.33 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($9.99 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 4 for Canada and December 18 for the US — that is the Bath Mat's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other curtains and bath pieces
- Of the 6 curtains and bath pieces in the catalogue, 1 costs less and 4 cost more.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 15 business days, is the same as the family's median of 15; no other curtains and bath pieces arrive sooner.
- 5 of the 6 are printed in North America, this one included.

Before you order
How long does the Bath Mat take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $15.33 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($9.99 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Bath Mat?
Yes. Sublimation reproduces photographs in full colour with no texture. White areas print as the item's own colour, so a photo with a white background blends into it. The print file is 10800 × 6900 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What sizes does the Bath Mat come in?
2 sizes: 24" × 17", 34" × 21".
When should I order the Bath Mat for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Bath Mat?
It is sublimation-printed, and that sets the care. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. No bleach; the colour is in the fibre, so it will not crack.
