How Vessim works: design a gift from a sentence

The five steps

1. Describe the gift. Write a sentence or two about the person and what you want — “a mug for my dad who fishes, with our dog Max”. Add a photo if you have one. Open the studio.
2. Pick a product, or let Vessim pick. Choose from the catalogue (mugs, tees, hoodies, prints, blankets and more), or leave it on Auto and the studio suggests one that fits the brief.
3. Choose from three designs. The studio returns three designs on the real product. Edit the text, change the style or start over; redesigns are free and unlimited until you order.
4. Check the delivery date and order. Enter the destination and see the arrival date before you pay. Ship straight to the recipient; the packing slip never shows a price.
5. A print partner makes it and ships it. The design goes to the partner that makes that product for that country. Track it from printing to the door; if it arrives wrong, send a photo and it is reprinted or refunded.

An example brief

A mug for my dad who loves fishing, with our dog Max.

That sentence is the whole brief. It names a product (a mug), a person (dad), a subject (fishing) and a detail only you know (Max). The studio returns three designs on the real mug; you can ask for another, change the words or switch the product. The gallery shows what sentences can become, using public-domain art as examples.

What it costs
